I preface this by laying blame at my feet, but I credit Pizza Hut for climbing Mount Blood Sugar with me, and helping me ascend to the rank of Pre-Diabetic before keto fixed that.

BOGO and 50% off are both better. If you get all 4, this is by far the most savings, and by a large margin, at least technically. But yea if you just 1-2 people, you may not want so much pizza.

I find pizza hut keeps really well for days, so this is my favorite promotion. Even if you only get 3, it's still a bit more savings than bogo/50%.

You got to remember now it’s buy large to get 3 medium for $15. The large pizza will cost roughly $22-25 (in Vancouver). With BOGO or 50%, you are looking at roughly $8-10/medium or $11-14 per large so really the price difference is pretty minor. If you include the “free” pizza every 5 purchases, then the smaller purchases probably would get you slightly more value (of course it does depend on what you buy and rather or not you mix and match vs buying similar/same cost pizza).

Well no, to be exact it's bluy 1 large, get 3 medium EQUAL or lesser price for $5 each. You do not have to buy all 4. Nor do all 4 have to be identical. Thus the exact savings can vary fairly wildly.

And because it's equal or less price. You can actually buy the cheapest large, at around $22, than the next 3 buy the most expensive or load up on toppings, at no extra cost. And with a base price of a medium with a lot of toppings getting close to that large at $22-25, that mean mea your getting a pie valued at $25 for only 5, or a 20% the normal price, or a 80% savings . Simple math for an ideal case: pie 1: 100%, pie 2 onwards: 20/20/20% = 160% of 1 pie / 4 = 40% avg cost, or 60% avg savings per pie.

So if you do that, the average savings per pie goes up to around 60%, vs roughly 50% on the other deals. (50% is of course exactly 50%, but BOGO is not because you get the lesser of the 2 pie's free and they gotta be the same size).
